To open the Brazenose Chamber Concert Series 2026 Trio Stradella will be performing an evening of rich and expressive repertoire for violin, cello and piano.

Mendelssohn - Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49

From 6.30pm ahead of the concert, audiences are invited to explore and hear Brazenose cellos up close. Brazenose violins, violas and cellos, beautiful instruments crafted by skilled luthiers in our European workshop and hand-finished, varnished and set up at Stamford Strings, the home of Brazenose Violins.
Since their formation in 2023, Trio Stradella have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting young chamber groups. Formed of musicians who studied together at Chetham’s School of Music, the group has proved at home in classical, romantic, and contemporary repertoire.
