Ever wondered what is above us in the night sky?
We are hosting a special night to showcase the world of Astronomy!
With support from The Peterborough Astronomical Society, we will be hosting seminars featuring child-friendly topics (To be announced)
This is an evening for all ages.
Learn how to map the night sky, and what to look out for.
There will be a selection of Astronomical equipment set up ready for you to view celestial and deep sky objects As long as the skies are clear of course!) and some crafting exercises to get the kids involved and interested in Astronomy.
We will be offering hot soup and rolls, as well as coffees and Hot Chocolates on the night too.
due to the size of the pub, we have to limit this evening to 50 people, so if you are interested please message us directly to book your slots.
On the night, please dress accordingly. If the skies are clear it is highly likely to be cold to wear plenty of layers to stay warm.
Our fires will be roaring away during the seminars (Inside) and the observing session takes place out in our garden
this is a great opportunity to learn about the cosmos and where we come from.
