Disastrous Robots + Traindeer A night of heavy-duty electronic exploration. From the analogue trip-hop and psychedelic soul of Disastrous Robots to the rhythmic, melodic builds of Traindeer; this double-bill explores the full range of modern electronic music and live instrumentation.


Traindeer blends vinyl sampling, field recordings, homemade hardware/software, vintage computers, and tapeloops — all processed through a modular system and Ableton Live — to bring together breaks, chiptune, ambient sounds, and rich textures. (WIRED)

Disastrous Robots is a trio specialising in jazz-infused trip hop. Built on a foundation of analogue synthesisers and steady downtempo grooves, the project blends the warmth of vintage hardware with improvised live instrumentation. Their striking guitar riffs, melodic saxophone, soulful vocals and spontaneous baselines create a uniquely atmospheric live performance that draws a line between the cinematic atmosphere of 70s synth pioneers and modern, beat-driven electronica.
