Apple Teacher Programme - iMovie
Reduced budgets means staff CPD can suffer. How do you achieve School Development Plan targets to use technology that the school has already invested in to help improve writing, reading, maths or use across the curriculum? Or to support teachers through a planned programme of CPD to realise the benefits technology has to offer to learners and to further enrich the curriculum?
Are staff making little use of iPad in the classroom? Are they unsure as to how iPad can best support learning? Would staff like to see iPad making a difference in your school?
Then what are you waiting for? We provide FREE training on iPad through our Regional Training Centre Programme. Every school can take advantage of this FREE training and not only is it completely FREE to attend but participants can also get accreditation to acknowledge their achievement. We can support your school’s CPD offering as well as celebrating staff achievements through gaining Apple Teacher for iPad.
There are various Apple badges available to collect. Once you have all eight iPad Apple Teacher stars you are awarded the badge of Apple Teacher for iPad. A measurable target for success in implementing iPad in the classroom – “75% of teaching staff have gained Apple Teacher for iPad and now use iPad in the classroom in ways they didn’t know was possible.”
What’s the catch? There isn’t one! We will run a free hour and a quarter session focusing on one of the free in built apps within iPad. At the end of approximately one hour hands on time there will be fifteen minutes for participants to complete a short, 5 question multiple response test to demonstrate their understanding of the app. If four out of the five questions are answered correctly they are awarded with one of the corresponding stars.
For your chance to gain an Apple star join us to learn more about iMovie:
iMovie – learn how to use the built-in features of iMovie to shoot, direct and edit your own movies made up of still or moving image or simply create a compilation of children’s video/image files created in other applications such as Puppet Pals or PicCollage.
This event is free to attend so don't miss out!
