This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages thousands of volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. The success of our mission relies on the engagement of residents to take responsibility within their own neighborhoods. Our partners and volunteers are individuals, families, students, civic organizations, businesses, and government entities who all want to improve the environmental health of the community in which we call home.Please help us exceed last year’s accomplishments by joining Keep Pinellas Beautiful for this year's Great American Cleanup at 4th Street North! Volunteers will assist with cleaning the mangroves and shoreline. We can't wait to celebrate Earth Day with you!Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 must be signed for by a parent or guardianSpecial thanks to our GAC sponsors: Pinellas County, FDOT, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Waste Pro, Molex, City of St. Petersburg, City of Largo, City of Clearwater.***WHERE TO MEET: Please meet at 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, FL 33716 (Heading in the direction of 275 North Tampa. Our location will be before the bridge). Look for the direction signs, table, and tent! Please disregard the Eventbrite map above. Meet here: GPS Coordinates: 27.893786, -82.639215 (Click here to view in Google Maps).TIME: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM - Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in.WHAT TO WEAR: Closed toe shoes are required. We recommend volunteers wear sun protection and weather approriate clothing.WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are required to sign our waiver upon arrival.
