For Friday, August 28, 2026 on St. Pete Beach:

* ? Sunset: 7:55 PM EDT. 
* ? Full Moon: The Moon reaches its full phase at 12:18 AM EDT early that morning. 
* ? Moonrise: 8:16 PM EDT, about 21 minutes after sunset. 

That timing is especially beautiful for a beach gathering:

* The sky will glow with sunset colors until around 8:15–8:25 PM.
* Then, just as twilight deepens, the full moon will rise over the Gulf Coast’s eastern sky while there’s still some color lingering in the west.
* This full moon also coincides with a partial lunar eclipse, though the eclipse occurs overnight/early morning rather than at moonrise that evening. 


* During twilight, we’ll have that magical period when the colors of sunset and the rising full moon can both be visible.  

These yogic ceremonies are offered by donation (suggested donation $20-33) and open to the community. Please only give what you can. Please include the “Full Moon Aug” in the note area.
