About the event

Trio Sonatas Through the Ages
The Bach Society presents its new ABC Series—All of Bach’s Chamber works, with the mission of performing the chamber music of J.S. Bach and those he influenced. These concerts will be approximately one hour in length, no intermission, and will have a post-concert reception where you can enjoy light snacks, refreshments, and meeting the musicians.

Trio Sonatas Through the Ages
A Musical Conversation
Bach has influenced countless composers and musicians, including many alive today. Musicians Margaret Humphrey, Grant Johnson, Rebecca Humphrey, and Tami Morse engage in a musical conversation featuring trio sonatas by Johann Goldberg, Bach’s student; CPE Bach, one of his many sons; and Nicola Canzano, a rare modern composer who writes in the baroque style.

This event is part of the 2025-26 Full Season Subscription.
