With richly detailed, truth-telling original songs, blistering, inventive guitar work, and impassioned vocals, Cannon is on the cutting edge of today’s contemporary blues scene. Inspired by legends like Hound Dog Taylor, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Albert King, Son Seals, and Jimi Hendrix, Cannon has forged a sound all his own. On his third Alligator Records release, 'Shut Up And Play!', he delivers 11 emotionally charged originals fueled by powerful guitar solos and a soulfully commanding voice. Special guests @thebutanes open the evening at 6pm, so join us out back for an electrifying night of world-class blues.
