- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 10:30 am (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: Join author Molly Beth Griffin and illustrator Jennifer A. Bell for a storytime celebration of their new picture book, The Babysitter Tree!

Young black bears tumble and spar, rest and recharge, and—most importantly—find safety and security in the shaded sanctuary of a white pine tree in this charming picture book. Join Molly Beth Griffin and Jennifer A. Bell for a read-aloud of The Babysitter Tree, a bear craft, book signing, and more at Red Balloon Bookshop.

To attend: This event is open to the public, but registration helps us when considering spatial constraints. You can register for a ticket for free on Eventbrite and preorder a copy of the book on Red Balloon's website. Additional copies of The Babysitter Tree will be available for purchase during the event, but ordering ahead guarantees your copy.

Signing Guidelines: Following the event, Molly and Jennifer will sign and personalize copies of the book. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon can have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.

Accessibility: Red Balloon Bookshop is wheelchair accessible and has a disability parking spot directly behind our store. If you have a disability or medical condition and have questions about or need other specific accommodations, please email events@redballoonbookshop.com or call 651-224-8320.

Code of Conduct: Red Balloon strives to create a kind, safe, and welcoming space where everyone is treated fairly and thoughtfully, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.
