Join us as the museum transforms into a living animal exhibit for one day and one day only at Critter Fest!
In the spirit of ecological exploration, mingle with a variety of fluffy, furry, scaly, and slimy critters. Learn about the diverse web of living things that transform our daily lives from the experts who study, protect, and care for them.

Live critter appearances:

🦮 Service dogs from Can-Do Canines
🐕‍🦺 Therapy dogs from North Star Therapy Animals
🦪 Mussels from the Minnesota Department of National Resources
🐍 Reptiles from Minnesota Herpetological Society
🦎 Animals from the Minnesota Zoo (11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
🪲 Dermestid beetles from the museum’s own collection
