She looked at photos of women working in General Mills’ test kitchens and said, “That’s what I want to do.” In 1968, she launched her 20-year career with the company. Barbara Jo Davis is a culinary visionary who helped bring Hamburger Hotdish and Ken Davis BBQ to grocery store shelves, while also opening doors for new generations of women. Join us for a special conversation with Barbara Jo Davis moderated by JoJo Bell. Conversation will continue at the reception afterwards.

This free program will feature a screening of TPT’s Being Black and Betty Crocker, a moderated conversation with Barbara Jo Davis, a Q&amp;A session, and reception with light refreshments. Registration is recommended, but not required.
