- **Event Description**: The GREAT SANTA HAT Challenge is happening in Hartley again this year!  It's fun, family friendly and festive! ?  
 
Dust of your SANTA HAT, grab your family and friends and head to the Hartley Historic Village.  Gather and explore the village, then head over to the Old Post Office (The Postmistress Cafe) area at 10.30am for the official head count!  Join us as Archie (the pony) and Wendy (his human) lead us up the pathway to create another awesome photo of as many people and fur babies wearing Santa Hats at one time, followed by the Santa Hat toss!

If you don't have a Santa hat, we've got you covered,  you can purchase one on the day, with profits going to Cancer Council Australia for cancer research.  

Stay and relax, Christmas shop at the village galleries (Talisman and Farmhouse) and enjoy all the village has to offer. The Postmistress Cafe will be open so you can enjoy their delicious baked goods and beverages.  After, wander over to the Old Garage and feast your eyes on all the new Antique and Old wares at Gold Rush Antiques store or simply take a short stroll along the beautiful boardwalk down to the river. The village offers something for everyone and its a great place to find unique Christmas Gifts for everyone!

Hartley Coffee and Cars and Fern Hill Australia have been joining us the past few years, so always good to see the cars and horses decorated too.

Each year we raise funds for Cancer Research and would be pleased if you could drop some coins or notes, into the donation box upon arrival.  

We will be happy to offer you a ticket in our lucky draw for every $5 donated, for your chance to win a gift voucher from local businesses.  (more details as the date draws near).  Prizes drawn just before the challenge at 10.45am. ?
