- **Event Description**: Join us for a guided walk through Dr. Murray Forest to learn about native trees and the seeds they produce!About this EventAbout Trees and Seeds HikeLearn about some of our unique Carolinian tree species and their seed production cycles. We will have the chance to sharpen our tree identification skills and explore seed collection and forecasting techniques. This educational hike will cross varied and uneven terrain, and will involve up to 2km of walking.Program NotesThe event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled in the case of severe inclement weather. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will communicate this via our Instagram and Facebook pages. We will do our best to reschedule the event to a new date/time.-Onsite washrooms will be available, if needed.-Don’t forget to pack a reusable water bottle and nut-free snacks. No pets please.-Accessibility: If you have any questions about the trip, or require accommodations, please contact Rachael Jensen in advance by emailing jensenr@thamesriver.ca All UTRCA summer events will be led by UTRCA Environmental Educators. Staff have First Aid training and Vulnerable Persons Checks.
