Normandy High School Alumni c/o 87' , Prince Hall Shriners and Prince Hall Daughters Auxiliary are hosting their 4th Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt which is a great event for children and the community. It brings the magic of Easter to those who don't have the freedom to go outside to celebrate.
As kids search the park for eggs and chocolate, not every hiding spot is going to reveal a treasure. As obstacles are uncovered, they have to be avoided complicating paths through the park, home and to victory.
This FREE family friendly event will be held Saturday April 4th at Vinita Park (Yeoman Location) next to City Hall Gates open for Registration at 11AM and event start promptly at 12:00 Noon on the Athletic Field! (If rain occurs we will move egg hunt to top of park off the athletic field).
The Hunt will feature a variety of colorful plastic eg gs filled with wrapped candy, coins and special prizes. The Easter Egg Hunt activities are for all school age children from Pre-K - to Middle School. For those students attending High School you can gain community service hours towards graduation by volunteering as we do welcome your assistance day of event.
The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance so don’t forget your baskets! This year we have a fun day planned that is FREE for the kids. Be sure to enjoy the following stops as you enter the park:

In order to make this a safe event that families will be comfortable attending, some health and safety precautions have been implemented:
Masks are NOT mandatory but highly recommended - Please bring your own.

It’s rewarding to feel the excitement in the air and to see the great time kids have. Normandy Alumni Class of 87' and Prince Hall Shriners/Daughters Auxilary have a soft heart when it comes to kids and our goal is to make The Great Easter Egg Hunt an annual tradition.
