The Great Easter Egg Hunt - 2026

Normandy High School Alumni c/o 87' , Prince Hall Shriners and Prince Hall Daughters Auxiliary are hosting their 4th Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt which is a great event for children and the community. It brings the magic of Easter to those who don't have the freedom to go outside to celebrate.

As kids search the park for eggs and chocolate, not every hiding spot is going to reveal a treasure. As obstacles are uncovered, they have to be avoided complicating paths through the park, home and to victory.

This FREE family friendly event will be held Saturday April 4th at Vinita Park (Yeoman Location) next to City Hall Gates open for Registration at 11AM and event start promptly at 12:00 Noon on the Athletic Field! (If rain occurs we will move egg hunt to top of park off the athletic field).

The Hunt will feature a variety of colorful plastic eg gs filled with wrapped candy, coins and special prizes. The Easter Egg Hunt activities are for all school age children from Pre-K - to Middle School. For those students attending High School you can gain community service hours towards graduation by volunteering as we do welcome your assistance day of event.

The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance so don’t forget your baskets! This year we have a fun day planned that is FREE for the kids. Be sure to enjoy the following stops as you enter the park:

• Photobooth Area - available to capture the kids beautiful smiles and special moments . Printed photos available at no charge. Photo strips provided 4x5 printed photos
• Face Painting and Tatoo stations
• Balloon Artist - "Limited Supply Available"
• Easter Baskets Giveaway - "Limited Supply Available"
• Food, Juice Boxes and Water
• Childrens books Giveaway - "Limited Supply Available"

Don't forget to thank each of the coordinators, volunteers and vendors . Each of these individuals are sponsors of this fabulous event and have generously made donations to help make this event possible.

In order to make this a safe event that families will be comfortable attending, some health and safety precautions have been implemented:

• This is a FREE community event, pre registration is NOT mandatory but recommended for all attendees age 13 and under planning to participate in the egg hunt.
• Attendees are asked to be conscientious about practicing social distancing as much as possible. The event will be spreaded out over a larger area to help with social distancing.
• Hand sanitizer will be provided and placed in multiple areas throughout the park. You can also ask a coordinator for sanitizer.

Masks are NOT mandatory but highly recommended - Please bring your own.
