March 3, 2026: Featuring Nishesh Chalise

Leveraging Systems Thinking for Workforce Development Success

The workforce system is shaped by a mix of policies, programs, and institutions. Leaders in workforce development recognize the value of aligning strategic goals but demographic shifts, technological changes, and global economic transitions make it challenging.

Dr. Chalise will discuss applying a systems thinking approach to bringing interest holders together to describe the key mechanisms driving workforce development. Through a collaborative process, interest holders created a systems map that identifies leverage points—ideas and interventions that could influence system behavior and improve outcomes.
