- **Event Description**: St. Louis-based nonprofit Operation Shower will bring the community together to celebrate the service and sacrifice of military families during Our Favorite Things Presented by Royal Banks of Missouri: a festive holiday brunch and charity auction hosted by actress and longtime Operation Shower supporter Melissa Joan Hart on Thursday December 4 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Andre’s at The Palladium.In addition to a delicious seated brunch and an exciting auction the event will feature live entertainment; a curated shopping experience; raffles; inspirational speakers including military families; and more. A highlight of the event will be the presentation of Operation Shower’s Compassionate Hearts Award to two organizations whose unwavering support has helped make an immeasurable impact on military families: the Blues Better Halves and Royal Banks of Missouri. Proceeds will support Operation Shower's mission to deliver joyful uplifting group baby showers to military moms-to-be whose spouses or partners are deployed or who are active duty themselves to ease the stress of deployment and separation. Since 2007 Operation Shower has honored nearly 10000 military families at showers conducted in St. Louis and communities nationwide.
