As you lie comfortably, tones from singing bowls and other instruments support the nervous system, helping release built-up tension and quiet the constant noise of the mind. There is nothing you need to fix, solve, or perform, this time is simply for you to receive.This experience is especially meaningful for Black people because rest has not always been accessible, encouraged or protected. Many of us carry stress in our bodies that didn’t start with us pressure to keep going, to be strong, to hold everything together. This space is an intentional pause from that weight.
