This event holds a special place in my heart. The Edward and Esther Haywood Caring Educator Award honors my parents’ lifelong commitment to education. Their legacy lives on through this celebration. The Foundation honors Charles’ impact as a phenomenon in modern Architecture.
We’ll recognize 23 extraordinary educators whose compassion uplifts our children and strengthens our future.
We’ll also honor the contributions of some of our region’s most impactful innovators and supporters of education: Bob Fox & Maxine Clark of the Clark-Fox Family Foundation, Michael Patrick McMillan, President & CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, State Senator Brian Williams, Karl Grice of The Grice Group Architects, Dr. Nathaniel Murdock and Mrs. Sandra Murdock, and Darryl and Villa Jean Jones.
