Here's what to expect:

• Engaging and educational presentations by the infamous Dr. Gordon Walker @Fascinated By Fungi and MOMS head of research Mike Snyder.

• A specimen table where our mycologists will display and share details about a variety of mushroom species collected just for the event.

• Cultivation workshop with take-home oyster mushroom grow kits.

• Cooking demo with delicious gourmet mushrooms

• Microscope demonstrations, including the opportunity to take an even closer look at our fungal friends and their tiniest features.

• Informational table with details about how to become a member, info about other upcoming events, and MOMS T-shirts, hats and stickers for sale.

• Various educational displays and mushroom art.

• Local vendors, including fresh, gourmet mushrooms for sale.

Last year's Funga Fair was a huge success and we couldn't be happier to be providing this fun and educational experience to the public in partnership with the Missouri Botanical Garden! Clear your schedule, ask off work, and save the date - see you there!
