Nouvelle Vague is a 2025 American/French comedy drama directed by the Oscar nominated Richard Linklater. Starring Guillaume Marbeck as Jean-Luc Godard, Zoey Deutch as Jean Seberg, and Aubry Dullin as Jean-Paul Belmondo, it is a love letter to the revolutionary magic of the French New Wave, reimagining the making of Breathless (1960), one of the first feature films of the French New Wave of cinema. Premiered at the Cannes Film Festival , it  received ten nominations at the 51st César Awards, including Best Film and Best Director, alongside a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, while Zoey Deutch was nominated for Best Supporting Performance at the 41st Independent Spirit Awards.
