We're really excited to be making a long overdue return to the Piper, with a full band in tow, after a barnstorming night last October with the Long Ryders.
We take the classic boy/girl ballad, add a touch of country music, sweet harmony and a good yarn, feed it through our own left-field filter to create our own type of magic.
We were once described in the Guardian as being, "the most intriguing band on these shores" and have collaborated with BJ Cole, Alabama 3, the Long Ryders, the Band of Holy Joy and many others.

O’Connell & Co came out of the songwriting partnership between Brendan O’Connell and Larry Love (Alabama 3).
O'Connell & Co
Brendan’s compositions reflect his broad range of musical influences. He plays guitar in Los Twangueros, a flamenco Balearic band popular with Ibiza DJs, and regularly plays tenor banjo and mandolin in Irish sessions across London, Hastings and Ireland. Effortlessly combining these two very different styles, forging a sound that has echoes of Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Jaques Brel.
