We will have everything you need for your midweek shopping trip—  prepared foods, sweets to have on all your adventures, and plenty of crafts and gifts for that special someone in your life whether you are visiting town or a seasoned regular!  

The market will continue to be a safe and welcoming place for families. We chose the location with families in mind. The Four Seasons park has a playground adjacent to our market where children and adults alike, who want to eat strawberries or baked goods on the swing, can gather and play. We feel so privileged to see our community  grow their families and navigate new adventures. We have seen children run around our market with blueberry stained lips grow into adults chasing after their own children covered in blueberries from the same bushes. We get to see our vendors with children strapped to their backs become vendors with children finding ways to contribute to the family business. We want to continue to be the grocery trip your kids are excited to go on.

If you are reading this, chances are you have been to market and felt a sense of belonging. This is something that we deeply value. We want every person who visits our markets to feel at home. Our goal in adding a second market to St. Johnsbury is to foster that sense of community. Having a second day to make that face to face connection and grow our friendships with neighbors. Community building is a large undertaking but work that we at the Caledonia Farmers’ Market Association feel called to do.
