- **Event Description**: October is here, there's a "crisp apple bite to the air" and the St Johnsbury Community Contra Dance is back! Grab your dancing shoes and join us on Sunday, October 26th, at 5pm for the first ST JOHNSBURY COMMUNITY CONTRA DANCE of the season. Doors open at 4:30, and dancing begins at 5 pm sharp and ends at 8 pm. We have a 30 minute break in the middle for a potluck supper and social time, so bring something to share if you're able.

Move to the music of Black Woods under the guidance of our caller, Don Stratton. There's something for everyone from beginner to well-seasoned dancer.

Bring clean, soft-soled shoes to change into once you arrive.

Admission is by donation, with suggested amounts of $15 to $20 per adult to cover the cost of the band, caller, and "wear-and-tear" on the building, but truly, any amount will do and will be gratefully received.

The dances are held the 4th Sunday of each month from October through May, except for December.

St. Andrew's Church is located at 1265 Main Street.
