Led by Newfoundland and Labrador choreographer Andrya Duff, this new work brings together a bi-coastal ensemble of vertical dance artists from Newfoundland and Labrador and British Columbia. Developed through an intensive creation residency, the performance explores gravity, transformation, atmosphere, and the unexpected possibilities of bodies in architecture.

With live electronic sound by Shauna Gilpin, the work draws subtle inspiration from nightlife—rhythm, anticipation, reveal, and shifting perception—bringing a charged new energy into The Rooms.

This free public presentation offers a glimpse into the growing practice of vertical dance in Newfoundland and Labrador, building local artistic capacity while inviting audiences into an adventurous, site-responsive form of contemporary dance.

Presented by Neighbourhood Dance Works in partnership with The Rooms, Body Narratives Collective, and Cirque’letics for the 2026 Vertical Dance Week.
