Members' Tours: Shifting Styles in the Art Vault

Join Mireille Eagan, Curator of Contemporary Art, for a rare behind-the-scenes tour of the art gallery’s vault. The tour will explore how art—and the ideas behind it—have changed over the decades, through shifts in style, materials, and cultural moments. You'll see a selection of artworks from the collections that are rarely on view, and learn how they reflect regional, national, and global histories. Along the way, get an inside look at how and why The Rooms collects, exhibits, and cares for artworks, and discover the quiet work that happens behind closed doors—from research to exhibition planning.
