Her latest project, “ISNOW”, recently won an ECMA award for fusion recording of the year. This project reflects her diverse experience by mixing classical music with celtic folk and incorporating contemporary Inuit throat singing with elements of jazz. Bestvater has also performed with orchestras internationally and plays in various folk music ensembles, such as Crooked Stovepipe, Ladylike, and the Craig Young Band, and she has lent her talents to recordings for prominent local and international artists.
