- **Event Description**: Join us this Beltane, celebration of fertility and union for a powerful evening of connection, embodiment, and alchemy.

🌸 May Day is a holiday with roots in the sacred celebration of Beltane, and on this special evening we will gather together in conscious communion, and in ceremony with cacao (the mother medicine of these times for the reclamation of our humanity). Beltane is the festival of fertility, renewal and union and during our evening we will sit with presence and intention, sing an alchemising medicine song to touch deep into the fabric of our hearts, dance together through a guided ecstatic dance body-prayer journey to honour this special point in the wheel and then land deeply with a ethereal soundscape.

🌕 The full moon in Scorpio on this same night brings a transformative energy of letting go and rebirth which will add a powerful theme to the journey of the evening.

What to expect:

⫸ Heart opening cacao ceremony (Cacao is optional)
⫸ Guided intention setting and medicine song
⫸ Ecstatic dance journey with music and guidance from Maria
⫸ Soundscape and grounding integration
⫸ No previous experience needed in ecstatic dance or ceremony.

To care for yourselves and aid the ceremonial process:

⁕⁕ Come well hydrated and bring water
⁕⁕ If possible, abstain from coffee or other stimulants during the day
⁕⁕ Bring a blanket, cushion and something to lie on (eg yoga mat)
⁕⁕ Wear comfy clothes you can move around in and feel free to dress or make yourself up in vibrant colours, flower crowns etc for Beltane.
⁕⁕ Take time to reflect on what you are bringing into union and growth inside of you AND what you are ready to shed with the energy of the full moon in Scorpio.
⁕⁕ If pregnant, on antidepressants, or with a heart condition, please consult your doctor if wanting to have Cacao.

This new wave of the return of ceremony has come about because our souls are thirsty for this kind of communion. We long for spaces that bring us back into the body, back into presence, and back into relationship with what is real. In a world full of intensity, distraction, and so many forces pulling at our attention, embodiment practices help us soften but yet strengthen, and transform our relationship to life itself. They help us meet the overwhelm, reclaim our centre, and gently shift the trajectory of how we live, feel, and grow.
