BREAK O’DAY TRIATHLON CHALLENGE 2026 — EVENT POST ?
Get ready, triathletes! The Break O’Day Triathlon Challenge 2026 is hitting the stunning coastline of St Helens on Sunday, 1 February 2026. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a first-time Trystar, this event has a distance for everyone. Mark your calendars, gather your crew, and prepare for an unforgettable day of racing in one of Tasmania’s most beautiful locations.

Swim
Open-water swim in the gorgeous George’s Bay, conditions determined by Bicheno SLSC on the day.
Bike
Riders will head out from Marina Parade, cycling along Georges Bay Esplanade and Binalong Bay Rd to a marshal-controlled turnaround.

Standard: 4 laps

Sprint: 2 laps

Short Course: 1 lap

Run
A scenic out-and-back along Beauty Bay’s walking track:

Standard: 2 laps

Short Course: Turnaround at 1.25km
Finish line is right beside the transition area—expect cheers!


Amenities
Public toilets and change rooms are conveniently located right outside transition.

Waste Management
Help us keep St Helens beautiful! All athletes, volunteers, and spectators are asked to remove rubbish before leaving. Waste bins are provided offsite.
