- **Event Description**: The St George Lions Dixie Roundup Rodeo is an annual rodeo held the second week in September at the historic Sun Bowl in St. George, Utah. Held by the St. George Lions Club and approved by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association. For years the roundup has been a huge event for the St. George area, with cowboys and cowgirls alike everyone comes out for our young mutton busters on up through our fearless bull riders! You will not be disappointed by the action and excitement of the Dixie Roundup! PRCA approved professional rodeo featuring Rodeo champion cowboys and stock.

Date: September 18, 19, and 20, 2025Location: At the Historic St. George Sun bowlTime: Gates open & tickets on sale at 6:00 p.m. nightly, pre-rodeo entertainment 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Rodeo usually ends about 11:00pm.
"On Friday (September 13, 2024) we celebrate “Tough Enough To Wear Pink Night” which is a special tradition at our Roundup.  Spectators and participants are encouraged to wear pink.  All proceeds for the night are donated to a special breast cancer fund at our local hospital. The amount varies, but is close to $10,000 every year."
Early Tickets: Sales for General Admission tickets only, will begin Saturday Sept 13, 2025 at the Lions building north of the Sunbowl.  General Admission Tickets will be on sale each week day (Monday September 15 through Saturday September 20).  The Lions building will be open and General Admission tickets available from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Reserved seats/tickets are not available at the Lions club building. To purchase reserved seats go to rodeoticket.com Questions about tickets can be sent to tickets@stgeorgelions.com.  Do not use this email to try to buy or reserve tickets.  The email is for general ticket questions. Also no one is monitoring the voice mails, so do not expect a return call.
Ticket Pricing:

Reserved Seating: $22.00 -$25.00. Purchased ahead of time. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. See Early Ticket Sales above.

Kids Night:  On Thursday (September 18, 2025) bring the whole family!! Children ages 11 and under are free. Save lots of money at the gate and buy the kids one of our famous and incredibly tasty hamburgers.
Mutton Busting:  Intermountain Farmer Association 310 N Industrial Road St George UT 84770.  Sign up in person at the IFA store. Sign ups starts August 9, 2025, and goes until September 3, 2025.  Then we will Draw on September 4, 2025 and notify the parents of the contestants.

National Anthem Tryouts for this years rodeo will be via video submissions.  You can follow this link for information on how to submit your audition recording.
