Supporting HeartKids & Sober in the Country 

Join Leonie Brassey’s —Heart of Country Courage — as she embarks on a year-long fundraising journey beginning 1st December 2025, culminating in this gala. 

Leonie's mission is inspired by her son William, born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and forever loved. In honour of what would have been his 21st birthday, Leonie is turning her family’s story into impact — raising awareness, building community, and giving back to the organisations that supported her.

This special event brings together rural Australia to support two life-changing charities: HeartKids, helping families affected by childhood-onset heart disease, and Sober in the Country, driving cultural change and alcohol-harm awareness across regional communities.

This is more than a fundraiser — it’s a movement of hope, connection, and making sure no one walks their journey alone.
