Join Us, for an evening of listening, reflection, and connection.

Breaking the Silence is a peaceful community gathering where survivors are invited to share their stories in a safe and supportive environment. 

Through the power of storytelling, we hope to create understanding, build community, and remind one another that no one is alone.

The evening will feature scheduled survivor speakers, anonymous survivor stories, and an opportunity for attendees to contribute to our community Phoenix Canvas by answering the question:

Guests will also have the opportunity to share ideas, feedback, and suggestions for future Phoenix Alliance initiatives through our anonymous suggestion box.

This is not a fundraiser, protest, or formal presentation. It is simply a space for survivors and supporters to come together, listen, and be heard.

The event will take place outdoors under the pavilions at Port Dalhousie in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Candles will help create a peaceful setting as we gather in community.

Those interested in sharing their story are encouraged to sign up in advance. 

Time permitting, an open sharing opportunity will be available at the end of the event for anyone who feels moved to speak.
