Day in the Life of a Kettle Kid

Inspired by the working life of a ‘Kettle Boy’ in the clay mining industry, experience a day as a ‘kettle kid’ at Wheal Martyn, during our 50th year!

Carry a kettle, dress up in period clothing, take a fun photograph and play historic themed games, as well as discover the real-life story of Arthur, who worked his whole career in the clay industry, starting as a kettle boy. Take a prize away with you to remember the day.

Available daily, from 10am until 5pm.
