SJCA members will have a priority when there is limited space for a specific event.• Beginning birders are particularly welcome at our events! The advanced birders who lead these events enjoy helping others learn about the habitats, songs, and lives of birds and how we can protect their habitats. • We also engage in waterways cleanups on a regular basis, which is a wonderful way to be on the water and see birds (as well as help clean our waterways of debris).• We support two Christmas Bird Counts, EagleWatch, Climate Watch, and the Florida Shorebird Alliance to protect nesting shorebirds.
