- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 09 Dec, 2026 at 06:30 pm – Wed, 09 Dec, 2026 at 09:30 pm (+00:00)
- **Event Description**: Join Firth Flock Flowers at Brookhouse Mill — recently reopened after a 12‑month refurbishment to lovingly restore the old mill — for a cosy, hands‑on Christmas wreath workshop. The warm, atmospheric interior makes it the perfect setting for a festive evening of creativity.

Led by local flower farmer and florist Ellen Firth, this workshop will guide you step‑by‑step through creating your own unique Christmas wreath. Starting with a handmade twisted willow base, you’ll build your design using fresh, locally‑sourced foliage and a curated selection of dried flowers, grasses, seed pods and textural elements.

Ellen will also share a little behind‑the‑scenes insight into how we grow and create sustainably on our Ruthin flower farm — from no‑dig methods to reusable materials and fully compostable ingredients.

You'll enjoy :
- Guidance and demonstrations from Ellen
- A twisted willow wreath base, sustainably sourced
- Fresh, locally‑grown foliage and a curated mix of dried materials
- All tools and equipment ready for you on the table
- A mince pie and your choice of mulled wine or a hot drink
- A cosy, festive evening inside the beautifully restored mill

By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a beautiful, one‑of‑a‑kind wreath to display proudly on your door. All materials are fully compostable, and the willow base is reusable — perfect for future seasonal creations.

Whether you come alone or with friends, this is a lovely way to slow down, learn a new skill, and enjoy a festive evening in one of Denbighshire’s most charming settings.
