Finn Anderson - Life from Cambo Kitchen

Fife songwriter Finn Anderson is one of Scotland’s most enchanting storytellers — one who finds magic in the borderlands between the mythic and everyday, human and more-than-human.

With a voice as tender as it is commanding, Finn crafts piano-led songs that stretch from whispered confession to sweeping drama, strung together by striking lyrics that go straight for the heart.

His critically-acclaimed second album, Into the Arms of Ghosts, was praised for both its cinematic scope and its vulnerability, drawing comparisons to Nick Drake, Anohni & The Johnsons and Rufus Wainwright. He has won over audiences across the UK and beyond, sharing stages with Sam Lee, Rachel Sermanni, Horse, Patrick Wolf, Douglas Dare and The Magic Lantern, and collaborating with Scottish folk stalwarts Anna Massie, Siobhan Miller and Kim Carnie. 

As a theatre-maker, Finn is the co-creator of award-winning musicals Islander and Ballad Lines, blazing an international trail for groundbreaking Scottish music theatre which has taken him from rural community halls in the Highlands to Off-Broadway in New York.
