- **Event Description**: This month we are having the well known Beekeeper Simon Rice, coming to us to give a talk and honey tasting. He will talk us through the process of beekeeping, the different varieties of bees and comparing them with other insects like wasps etc..

Please note there will be NO LIVE BEES in the room, for any members with allergic reactions. There will be an opportunity to taste honey and purchase some if you so wish to either by cash or card.

In addition to that we are holding a recipe swop, the challenge is to include honey in the recipe. So start looking at those family recipes. Pop them on a postcard or sheet of paper for someone else to enjoy. Bonus points if you have time to bake something!

There will be the usual re-use table available, with the stipulation that if anything you bring on the night is not taken, please take it back with you.

Visitors are always welcome for a £5 visitors fee. You can come along as a guest 3 times before deciding if you want to sign up as a member. If you do want to sign up please see Alicia for the full details.
