🌻 We’ve added a Porthtowan workshop — here’s why. 🌻
Our first Forró workshop in Penryn sold out last month, and the new December session is already filling up. We also want to bring Forró to the North Coast — so we’re holding a second workshop at Community Roots in Porthtowan to help the scene grow across Cornwall.

This Sunday session works beautifully on its own or as part of a full weekend of dancing. It’s suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone who joined the Penryn workshop and wants to go deeper into the rhythm, movement, and feel of Forró.

If you’d like to build on the foundations from Saturday or simply immerse yourself more fully in the dance, Filipe is also teaching at the Zed Shed on Saturday 6 December.

Forró is the joyful partner dance of Northeast Brazil — rhythmic, playful, and full of connection. No partner or experience needed: everyone is welcome to try both leading and following.
