About The Host: This unique space was built in 1924 by a local brewer during prohibition and had been vacant since the 1980s. This is a one-of-a-kind venue that went through a thorough renovation back to its original state, has just been completed and now is reopened as a special events space. This building is located right across from the prominent Bevo Mill and was actually built only 8 years later. Due to the proximity both in time and place, The Little Bevo actually shares a design similarity with the Mill, giving the surroundings a very particular retro feel and appearance. The 6,900-square-foot Little Bevo features ornate woodwork, stained glass, and original iron chandeliers. It has two large rooms on the main level, one of which includes the original bar. A grand staircase leads to a lower-level ballroom. On the back of the building, The Laugerhaus Air B&B, has been completely redesigned with a brand new apartment that will availalbe for nightly rental.
