- **Event Description**: Once again we will be hiking up to the Second Peak of the Chief in Squamish to raise funds for Chilliwack Search and Rescue!

The Chief is not an easy hike, please be prepared with your ten essentials, and everyone hikes at their own risk. 
I will add another OLBD date  for Qoqo:lem Chilliwack for the ladies who would like to participate in a lighter local hike. 

Be sure to pack enough water (also electrolytes) for a half day of hiking. Pack a light lunch and snacks to fuel you for the steep grind down. 

Also pack your black dress and shoes or flip flops for an epic picture up top. We have a photographer!

We will be meeting in the Chief parking lot at 7:45, we will be at the trailhead to commence the hike at 8am. Please try to condense vehicles, we can do a carpool thread on this page, the Chief’s parking lot is very busy!

Feel free to invite friends! Everyone is welcome, as long as they realize that they will be hiking at their own risk. This event is simply a fun day on the mountain to raise some funds for CSAR and meet some amazing fellow hikers:-)

There will be two ways to donate. I will have a manila envelope up top for cash donations, and you can also donate online. I will add the link for online donations the week of the event.

I opened the event page this year to see if we can get some new faces on the Chief. This the first year that my OLBD event isn’t private, hopefully this creates some new interest from ladies who love to explore the mountains as much as I do!
