🦠 WORKSHOP DETAILS:
Microfusion is a subtle partner dance that focuses on small movements, deep presence, and intimate attunement with your partner and the music. This all-levels workshop is beginner-friendly (no partner or previous experience necessary!).
Saturday November 29th
4:00-4:15pm Arrive and check-in
4:15-5:30pm Microfusion workshop with K.Lani !!
5:30-5:45pm music and open practice (optional)

🦠 TEACHER BIO:
K.Lani is an Interdisciplinary performer, teacher, organizer, and costume stylist based in Vancouver, BC. She dances solo, in partnership, stilt walks, & spins fire just to start with!! Originally a contemporary dancer, K.Lani found partner dancing in university, falling in love first with swinging out to Lindy Hop.
She approaches her teaching with an interdisciplinary mindset pulling from the many solo and partner genres she has studied. She is a continuous driving force in the Vancouver fusion scene, running the longstanding Coalescence dances as well Mini Van, a Microfusion festival in Vancouver. She frequently teaches fusion classes at these events, and also offers private fusion lessons. She has a special love of connecting through micro dances.

🦠 Note: This is a separate workshop that is NOT included in your Squamish Fusion Social event ticket. You are welcome to join us regardless of whether you are coming out to the big evening event afterwards! The material will help you connect across a broad spectrum of partner dance styles.
