Wreaths Across America

Our association would like to explain our current situation with Wreaths Across America.
Wreaths Across America is a non profit organization that accepts donations, $17.00 per wreath, and distributes these wreaths at cemeteries across the country. SMVMC is home to 2800 graves, 2100 headstones. So far, 639 wreaths have been purchased through Wreaths Across America. This leaves a lot of graves uncovered.

Rolling Thunder has worked hard to raise funds every year to cover the cost of a wreath for every grave in our cemetery, but as this cemetery continues to grow the cost has become too much for this local organization to cover.

There’s still time to purchase wreaths for this year and they will be delivered, but our association can not guarantee a wreath for every grave. We are hopeful that donations will be made and there will be enough wreaths for everyone.

Our Association will purchase five large wreaths from a local vendor to place at each section of the cemetery.

Wreaths Across America takes place December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
