The Dana-Thomas House: Frank Lloyd Wright's Perfect Stage for Susan Lawrence Dana's Events

As part of our "Homes of the Past" lecture series, Allicent Smith and Cinda Klickna will share how Wright was a "composer of space" and designed both intimate and large spaces in the Dana-Thomas House. These spaces were the ideal settings for many of Susan Lawrence Dana's many events, meetings, and gatherings. Slides of the rooms will be shown, focusing on Wright's design details, followed by stories of the eclectic activities that occurred in the rooms.

This free lecture will include light refreshments.

There's no need to register for this event - it is free and open to the public.

Note that while this lecture is about the Dana-Thomas House, it will take place at the Springfield Art Association, 700 North 4th Street.
