This not-so-spooky, family-friendly, Halloween event invites you to visit The Zoo in costume and enjoy a trick-or-treat trail for the kids, crafts and activities, animal encounters and a scavenger hunt while visiting with The Zoo's many furry, scaley and feathered friends!

The event also includes a virtual costume contest sponsored by the Holyoke Mall with prizes for the Funniest, Most Creative and Best Group Costumes. To participate, snap a photo while at the event and comment it on the designated Costume Contest Facebook post. Winners will be announced on Oct. 29. 

Pre-purchased tickets are required to attend and everyone in your party must have a ticket. NO tickets will be sold at the gate on the day of the event. Library passes, membership cards, GroupOns and one-day passes/vouchers cannot be used for this event. Ticket sales end Oct. 23 at noon or when all child tickets have been sold. This allows us to ensure we have enough goodies for all kids attending. 

***Front gate closes at 1:30 p.m.! No one will be admitted into The Zoo after 1:30 p.m. The event ends at 2:30***

SPECIAL NOTES:

CHILDREN 0-1: Children under the age of one who wish to collect goodies along the trick-or-treat trail must have a pre-purchased ticket. Children under one who do not want to participate in the giveaway stations are free and do not need a ticket to attend the event.

NO REFUNDS: All ticket sales are final. This event is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25. Tickets will be honored for the same time on Sunday. No refunds will be given in the case of a rain date.

PARKING: The City of Springfield charges $3/in-state and $5/out-of-state plate CASH ONLY to park in Forest Park. This fee is managed and collected by the city and is not included in the price of admission.
