THE BANDS Little Things Collective is a playful folk clown duet, offering a unique blend of original music and beloved covers from the 1920s to today. With a lively mix of synth, ukulele, guitar, and percussion they create a lighthearted atmosphere where toys and props take center stage. Little Things Collective brings a joyful, memorable experience! Nightdowner frontman Benji Marchbank will be playing acoustic versions of songs from all three albums, influenced by bands like Dillinger Four, The Lawrence Arms, and Jawbreaker. The newest album (I Don’t Think It’s Too Late, out 9/5) is a lean, manic 11 song collection of midwest punk songs with the occasional flirtation with ska and 90’s emo. Timmy Miano ate a dad-joke sandwich with Dead Milkmen and NOFX CDs for bread and now he can't shut his mouth about how punk rock food is or something like that. --------------- What is Punk Rock Brunch? Every third Sunday at Ruthie's Off C-Street in Springfield, MO, will be serving up tasty brunch while host Timmy Miano (The Constant Distractions, Angry Panda) plays punk rock playlists between live performances from the areas best punk, ska, and genre-defying, boundary-pushing artists! What are the details? -Doors and brunch start at 11 AM and carry on until around 2 PM. -We'll be listening to rad music and watching cartoons for a while. -Live music starts around 11:30 AM or whenever we feel like it. -$5 cover - all the money goes straight to the bands! -21+ (for now) Can my band play? We're still booking for 2025 and early 2026 so probably! Punk is a spectrum so you basically just need to explain why you think you'd be a good fit. Black Flag Tribute? Rad!
