Those seeking to heal past trauma often find IFS when they have given up on traditional talk therapy. IFS is very different: the focus is that you have all you need to heal inside of you and IFS helps you access it.This group is for you if you have read a few books on IFS / watched full session videos (there are loads on YouTube), already worked or are working with an IFS therapist, want to practice in community, or feel ready to try something new for your healing journey and you have the capacity to go inside and explore your inner landscape, via previous development thru meditation, mindfulness, or other contemplative / embodiment disciplines.We will practice safely by creating mutually agreed upon group agreements. Working primarily in triads, we will use various interactive, somatic, experiential exercises in getting to know protectors, both firefighters and managers, parts-detecting, unblending, locating the Self, and most importantly: building relationships, gaining trust with and mapping the parts. We will not be doing deep exile work / going into trauma in this group.
