Come grab your seat at the table for a fun, friendly gathering of tiles, strategy, and good company! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just recently caught the Mahjong bug, Open Play is your time to mix, mingle, and Mahj on with fellow enthusiasts. We will bring several sets of tiles, but if you have a setup you like, you are welcome to bring it. Don't forget your current NMJL card, and get ready to play! We welcome all skill levels, but please note: you must already know how to play American Mahjong and follow NMJL rules. (No teaching this evening.  If you're new to the game, check out our beginner class: Mahjong 101. We’d love to teach you!)

To our Mahjong 101 students--this is the next step towards mastering mahjong--play, play, play.

Kindness is key around our tables, and good sportsmanship is always in style. Don’t have a 2025 NMJL card? No worries—please reach out before the event, and see if we have extras available for purchase.

Directions: SEAS CAFE--NEW LOCATION:  Park on the EAST side of the building in the main parking lot Enter the buildingunder the east side canopy doors. We will be in the first space on the right.
