Mindful Christmas watercolour workshop,

In this workshop we’ll be creating Christmas cards and gift tags using watercolour, acrylic ink and fine liner pens. We’ll be working mindfully to become absorbed in the process of creating, experimenting with colour and colour / water blending. Then we’ll turn your work into a stylish end product, using fine liners to give your art work a form, using the themes of Christmas baubles and/or gifts.
Join us for an enjoyable creative process and come away with chic cards and gift tags that you can send to your loved ones at Christmas.
To create these beautiful cards and gift tags, no prior experience is needed - just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! We'll be having fun with the watercolour and acrylic ink, experimenting with their vibrant colours. Then we'll give form to what we have created using fine liner pens. This is a workshop where you can enjoy the process and also take home something beautiful and useful!
There are two designs to choose from :
Christmas baubles
Presents (this is also a good option if you prefer not to create Christmas Cards)
All materials are provided. However, if you have your own watercolours and brushes, ceramic plate/palette or any other kit, feel free to bring these along. As we are working with acrylic inks as well as watercolours, I'd recommend bringing an old shirt or apron.
Each participant will be able to create and take home two cards and four gift tags. Additional blank cards and gift tags can be purchased on the day.
Clare leads creative and self-care workshops. She is also a qualified therapist and teacher.
Please note that our workshops are held on the first floor via stairs only.
