Join us for Merit Badge University at the University of Illinois Springfield! We’re excited to offer a wide variety of engaging merit badge opportunities along with leader training, all while showcasing our beautiful city and the UIS campus.

MBU is designed for everyone—from the newest Scouts and leaders to the most seasoned. We’ve gathered experts from both inside and outside of Scouting to deliver a fun, high-quality, and comprehensive program.

The purpose of Merit Badge University is simple: have fun while expanding merit badge instruction for our youth. We look forward to welcoming you for a day of learning, discovery, and Scouting adventure!
