Homeschool Day at the Museum: Civil Rights History

Join the History Museum on the Square for a fun look at history on the day it happened! Explore the museum and participate in a hands-on activity that coincides with historic holidays/anniversaries. This events topic: Civil Rights History!

Attendees will receive discounted admission of $8/person for access to the museum’s 7 galleries. The special activity is included as part of your visit for no additional charge.

Doors open at 10:00 am. From 10:30 am – 11:30 am, a museum educator will lead the special activity in the museum. After, explore the museum as long as you’d like until 5PM closing time!

All ages welcome! Activity recommended for ages 6-17. Coloring activities and children’s books will be available. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Note: Library Passes are good for general admission only. They cannot be used for special museum events, member discounts, group reservations or field trips. Therefore, they will not apply for access to the special event activity.
