This special event brings together community leaders, supporters, and partners from across Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties to celebrate the impact we can make when we unite to fight hunger. Through powerful stories of resilience, compassion, and hope, guests will gain a deeper understanding of how food assistance provides more than nourishment—it offers dignity, stability, and opportunity for our neighbors.

The morning will feature a moving spoken word performance by Laurent Che, an acclaimed poet, storyteller, and inspirational speaker whose powerful storytelling inspires reflection, connection, and action.

We will also have a keynote presentation from Kevin Rose, Historian at the Turner Foundation in Springfield for over twenty-three years. Residents know him best as Springfield's historian.  He has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally on Springfield's remarkable history — and even more remarkable rebirth. 

Together, we will celebrate the stories that nourish us, recognize outstanding community partners and volunteers, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring every neighbor has access to the resources they need to thrive.
